Restoring hope, building futures where migration is a choice.

The Shadrack Ogbeide Foundation is a Nigerian NGO stabilising vulnerable households, restoring rural livelihoods, and expanding opportunities for women and youth so people can thrive in their home communities.

Your support helps fund food security, income recovery, education and skills, basic health and WASH, and community protection for families on the frontlines of displacement risk.

What we do

Four integrated pillars for rehabilitation

We design multi-sectoral responses tailored to local realities in Nigeria, anchored in evidence and aligned with international humanitarian and development standards.

Food Security & Income Recovery

Stabilising households so they can breathe again

We provide time-bound food support, cash or voucher assistance, and livelihood starter kits for farmers, traders, and artisans which help families recover income streams disrupted by conflict, climate shocks, or economic crisis.

Education & Skills for Youth

Keeping young people learning, earning, and rooted in possibility

From remedial education and school support to vocational training and digital skills, we help adolescents and youth, especially girls, access pathways into dignified work at home instead of dangerous journeys abroad.

Health, WASH & Protection

Safe, dignified communities where people can stay and thrive

We link families to basic health services, improve access to safe water and sanitation, and strengthen community protection, with a focus on women's safety, psychosocial support, and safeguarding children at risk.

Migration Prevention & Community Resilience

Building futures strong enough that leaving is a choice, not survival

We address the root drivers of irregular migration by rehabilitating communities through integrated support that restores livelihoods, expand opportunity, and strengthen social cohesion so young people can build meaningful lives at home.

Why it matters

Reducing the need for dangerous journeys by restoring dignity at home

Irregular migration is rarely a choice. It is a last resort for families trapped between insecurity, economic collapse, and the erosion of basic services. By addressing these drivers in Nigeria's high-risk communities, we help people reclaim agency over their futures.
