Locally Rooted, Globally Aligned
Addressing the root causes of irregular migration through dignity, opportunity, and rehabilitation.
Communities where people live in safety and dignity, with sustainable livelihoods so migration is a choice, not a necessity.
To stabilize vulnerable households, restore rural livelihoods, and expand opportunities for women and youth in Nigeria.
The Shadrack Ogbeide Foundation was created out of a simple conviction: no one should have to risk their life on irregular migration routes because their community has failed them.
From our base in Nigeria, we work with local partners and global allies to make that conviction real. We see villages, towns, and peri-urban settlements across Nigeria where young people can access quality education and decent work; where women can lead and earn without fear.
Our team combines community roots with professional standards - safeguarding dignity, protecting resources, and staying accountable to the people we serve.
Behind every programme is a group of people committed to integrity, learning, and service.

We prioritise safeguarding, community feedback, and responsible financial stewardship. This keeps our programmes credible - and keeps the people we serve at the centre of every decision.
Families do not experience challenges in isolation. Our model brings threads of income, education, and health together.
We start by listening to communities, traditional leaders, and youth to map how poverty and service gaps drive migration pressure.
Programmes are co-designed with local stakeholders to ensure activities reflect community priorities and are transparent.
Implementation follows strict standards for safeguarding and financial accountability, inspired by international best practices.
We gather data and stories of change to adjust our programming, ensuring each cycle is stronger and more impactful.
Every person we serve is a rights holder. We design support that protects dignity, privacy, and choice.
We believe the most sustainable solutions are led by the people closest to the challenge.
We use data and lived experience to refine our programmes and advocate for systemic change.
Committed to strong governance, clear financial reporting, and open communication with all partners.
The foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees providing strategic oversight and ensuring responsible stewardship of resources. Our team brings decades of experience in humanitarian response and development.
